据环球网军事频道报道，3月31日，一段据称是美军人员拍摄的视频记录了“福特”号航母洗衣房发生火灾后的状况。

报道称水兵生活的舱室里，床铺被烧得一片焦黑。洗衣机和烘干机均有不同程度的损毁，舱室管路也被烧毁变形。

3月12日，舰上主洗衣房起火，导致航母上100多张铺位无法使用，约200名水兵因吸入烟雾接受医学检查。
